ISO Certification Process

Stage 1 - Gap Analysis against the ISO Standards

This stage consists of a remote GAP Analysis and an Internal Audit Report with recommendations. A review is conducted of projects, procedures, forms and current systems.

Stage 2 - Implementation of Management System

Merrin Co will implement procedures and forms in this stage and streamline the system. We will ensure the Management System complies with any tender requirements. A Management Review meeting is conducted, and training is provided to the Director and Management. The system is then ready for Stage 1 Documentation Review with the Certification Body.

Stage 3 - Certification Audit

This is broken down into two stages.

Stage 1 is a documentation review and is usually conduction remotely. The auditor will interview the business and consultant if required. An audit report is provided with any non conformances or observations. The next stage is discussed and a date is booked in.

Stage 2 is carried out onsite and can take a few days. The auditor will ask to sample work from each department and the core processes. The auditor will conduct interviews for each process with top management, middle management, staff and contractors. Once the audit has been completed a report is provided with any non conformances and observations. Once the non conformances have been corrected the certificate is issued.
